BEHIND THE VILLAGE
-
Motivated by creating sustainable places to live, projects by Hygge Property are intended to leave a legacy of positive change across communities in Victoria.
Inspired by a shared passion for creating exceptional places, Directors Joseph van Dyk and Adam Davidson are the people behind Hygge. They are supported by a diverse team of innovative problem solvers, who work alongside a trusted network of industry leading consultants to deliver considered, design-led urban living in regional places.
Consistent with Hygge Property’s commitment to supporting a transition to a carbon neutral lifestyle, The Village is gas free. Enabling future residents to live more sustainably without reliance on fossil fuels, means The Village can be built to meet the needs of the present without compromising future generations.
The rationale for Hygge’s approach to shake up the status quo in regional places like Daylesford is grounded in longevity. This approach permeates early thinking and design, with Hygge prioritising projects in established urban environments – seeking to transform underutilised spaces into vibrant communities.
